Deryneia
This property is located in Deryneia which is in the Famagusta district in the south east of the island. This small traditional Cypriot town is ideal for those wanting a quiet break away from the crowds of tourists. This idyllic hilltop landscape includes disused windmills that stand idle in the fields surrounding the town. Few tavernas occupy the historic Greek-Cypriot stone buildings located in the hub of Deryneia. Larnaca international airport is 45 minutes drive and the famous long white sandy beaches of Cyprus are a short drive away.
Nearby is the town of Paralimni which hosts a combination of traditional tavernas and cafes and two of the areas largest supermarkets. Paralimni has banks, cash machines and all local amenities you would expect. Nightlife is well catered for in both Protaras and Ayia Napa. For those who wish to venture further a visit to the picturesque Troodos Mountains and a shopping/sightseeing tour of Nicosia (the world’s only divided city) is highly recommended.
